Just under 50 miles to a tenner is pretty good for a v8 that's 250 miles to £50 that's better than my 3.2! Bit of messing with the exhaust and bet that would sound awesome, mixed with the amazing looks that's a 100% win!

I have the same in mine, my master plan is to get a cheap 7" android tablet with Bluetooth and fit it to the bracket, I could then run the android torque app on it (currently run on my phone)

thats the thing, I swear there was a clip on here a while back but I can't find it. so basically same noise as a backbox (that gives you no more power anyway) but only costs £50 to get done. SWEET! Thanks for the help

Thanks, but I'm after the noise if the centre silencer is removed not a different back box. Or are you saying it sounds just like a supersprint exhaust does?

Does anyone have a video of the noise made by a 3.2 with the centre silencer removed? i.e. a straight bit of pipe in its place. I'm trying to get an idea of how loud it would be compared to standard

update made mine generally smoother all round, not a miracle cure but it helped. I'm probably completely wrong but I thought it was an Audi only update, didnt know indipendants could do it.

get the famous 3.2 software update from audi, give me better fuel economy by about 5mpg, I went from 21mpg avg to 26mpg avg (on the dis) and thats driving like I stole it

Little while back fifth gear did a test on fuels, videos still on YouTube. Proven torque and bhp increases through the rev range on performance cars. No improvement in run of the mill 1.3 fiesta. Best fuel was tescos super (or whatever the call it) better than ultima/optima etc
