If you want it to last come off the long life service, also the fuel pump belt will be due and gets overlooked in services it is not dangerous to the engine but the car will stop if it snaps.

Not been to active here lately as I bought an RS3 its a great car but still have the B7 avant and not sure whether to keep it or sell. The main reason for going back to petrol is the constant and worrying bad press about diesel. I am currently planning to move away from London so the issue...

Well I have taken the plunge and after much looking found a nice unmolested car which has good specification. Had very little time from picking it up before departing for my annual trip to Switzerland in it. Probably not the best opportunity to draw any long term conclusions regarding fuel...

Have the lead now and using my iPod classic, the RNse 2 is much better than the MkI and shows more info on tracks but still a bit dated. Miss the dab I had in my A4. A few years ago but I believe you can get an adapter for the AMI.
