Not really sure where to post this however, I have two spare mechatronic units sat in my garage after some previous work on my S4. Would anyone know if anywhere would buy them to potentially refurb and sell on?
Seems a shame to get rid of them that was all ♂️
I have 245/35/19 Uniroyal Rainsports all round and they are impressive, the size seems to suit the S4 19" wheels a bit better as it has the tiniest amount of stretch
Ah never hit the underside yet luckily and I live in the centre of Newcastle so it's like speed bump hell in my street, your from up this neck of the woods aren't you?
Cheers! The springs are actually for an A5 but also suitable for A4 H&R 29059-2 which states 45mm but with us having lower suspension to start with I think it's dropped about 25/30mm!
Gone with 15mm on the rear and 10mm spacers on the front, just rubs a tiny bit on big speed bumps.
Has any used 235/35/19 or 245/35/19 instead of the standard 255/35/19?
Rubbing slightly all round and I'm due new tyres so thinking I could have a small stretch on to avoid rubbing..
Similar to what your on about however I couldn't get away with it, I like everything symmetrical and it was doing my head in!
I ended up going back to a normal plate but I'm going to eventually order some short tinted plates to try out.
£150 delivered from eBay, fits perfect!
Similar one to mine but must have put the price up.

Also you do get a number plate holder included with it I just took it off.
Yeah H&R, the part number for the springs I got was 29059-2 which is actually a 40-45mm drop on an A5 but states they are also compatible with the S4 as well!
Yeah not too bad firmer but not going to rattle your teeth out.
Mine is about a 25mm drop with 15mm spacers on the rear and 10mm spacers on the front, so I do get a very tiny bit of rubbing on the rear over large bumps but apart from that it's fine!
H&R by the way!
What can I get away with doing on my S4 in terms of fitting spacers whilst dropping it slightly on OEM 19's?
Still want it practical ish should we say! Haha
