    If your alternator is valeo you need a whole replacement of your alternator.As they give problem with their rotors,but i expect you have many miles ,so you must change also regulator,bearings,its better to get a whole unit.If its bosch 99% is regulator problem.Hope i helped.

    My advice to go for a new one.Just be careful when you buy ,they are different for manual and auto gearbox.bkd you can search and from other cars but care the gearbox.If yours is manual you must search for manual.

    Hello,i want to return my 2.0 tdi to stock because of enormous fuel consumption.from 140 hp to 190 hp but 11 litres per 100 km.So if i go to audi service and ask for an ecu update will they return the ecu back to stock?thx in advance
