Only thing I would add is MMI seems to have a 3,000 song limit per card, so not much point in bigger than 16G cards. if you have more than 3,000 it will only read the first 3,000 and ignore the rest.

Main things to remember, 1) brake fluid degrades with age, the service schedule is something like 24 months, but if in doubt, change it (costs sod all and takes minutes). 2) brake early and not hard, this will give them a chance to shed the heat over a reasonable time, last minute hard stops...

not sure your understanding this... brakes work by turning kinetic energy into heat - the more weight, the more heat, more speed (to scrub off), more heat. on a track, your use of the brakes is WAY higher in both load and frequency, thus not only are you putting more energy into the brakes...

that's not going to help, the disks are just not up to it. realistically, it's a 1,750+Kg's car +you etc, that takes a lot of stopping, and the std disks are just not big enough to shed that kind of load.

got a V8 one, and yes, ~25Mpg is about it, but hell, who cares? service wise, it's on variable schedule, currently saying 17K to next inspection/service. Avoid poverty spec ones, even though they are 'S' cars, the spec as base was less than stellar

90hp from just a re-map seems somewhat optimistic...(your going to need a pulley change as well to get anything like that)

well, Audi quote 61L for the tank. I think the most I have put in is ~62, but then again, I always find that the stated tank capacities are under reality, I assume they play safe and also don't include the pipework etc. Consumption wise, getting 300+ pretty much all the time now, the more...

SDHC cards work in MMI3 no problem (on S4/S5 etc), I have been using 32G ones no problem. Yes, you can't copy that much to HD, but why bother, just leave the card in and use that.

Can't help much other than to say I did not like the OEM Bridgestones, and I also am not wild about the Sport Maxx GT's either! will probably go back to Yokohama at next change, (always ran them on previous A4/S4's without complaint).

usually get about the same, overall average is ~28.4 at the moment. PS. put more than 60L in before so I am guessing the tank is bigger than 60!

[/FONT] they are Audi Sport wheels of an old A4 (Ebay!) 7.5J17 ET45 only thing is that I had to have the centre bore machined out as B8 hubs are bigger than the older cars. on the front, they are close to the brake calliper but there is enough clearance. I was going to buy the Audi 17"...
