IMO It all comes down to the whole package.... Adrian Newey is a Maestro and no matter what engine, chassis, team you give him he will put a competitive package together..... I seriously don't feel that available funds has an Influence...... I would suspect that Ferrari and McLarens budget is...

I have recently become the proud owner of an s8 D2 Besides being an awesome vehicle my primary reason fot the purchase is so that I can take the Cab off the road for a year and Restore it.... I plan to strip it down...refurbish and re-fit including some upgrades on the motor, suspension...

I haven't had any issues with my roof since buying the Cab 2 yrs ago.......so don't think it is a common/regular prob. Sounds like something related to the boot not opening with remote as the roof won't operate properly if the boot thinks it is open. Probably a Sensor somewhere giving problems...

On the Cab one can open and close the roof remote ..... so don't see why the sunroof can't be programmed..... Might be mistaken.....

The matte clear coat sounds interesting..... would be keen to see the effect.... Tx... Would also alleviate minor chips.... Hmmmmm.

If anything I would do the whole wheel Anthracite....... Looks stunning on a Black Car....specially when Clean and also looks clean if they have some Brake Dust on them.... :yes: Did mine a few months ago and had a lot of Positive comments
