I've got a 1.9 TDI Leon which I want to do this to. Obviously the engine layout is different to the Audis - anyone got any idea if I remove the EGR valve, if the small pipe to the left of this picture is the one which I need to insert the silicon tube and oven cleaner into? Really fiddly access...

Yeah, looks like I bought my aero blades for no reason :/ Since found an ebayer who sells the best of both - aero blades which have standard connectors. 20 notes, although I have spent about 15 on previous old school blades (with B5 type fitment) and late B6/7 aero blades. Guess I'll hang onto...

The original blade was metal framed. I was told on this thread that I have aero arms. So I've bought 22" aero blades to fit the arms. But it doesn't match up. Confused.

Thanks for the link! Good to know the B7 mats are the same. I wonder if B8 mats fit as well? As for the 'awesome' mats, they look great, but would be way better than the quality of my interior at the moment!

I could do with a newer pair of front floor mats for my B6 Avant, but most of the sets of genuine mats of evilbay seem to be for the B7. Anyone know if the B6 and 7 mats are the same? Is the Avant any different to the saloon fitment? Thanks

Riiiight, update time. I eventually got a Vagcom cable, finally got the interface connected, and now the software crashes each time I try to scan. I'm running Vista, and a quick google suggests it's not the best combination.... In the meantime, I've noticed the luggage compartment roof light...
