Basically with mine, it's non existent or at least very quiet at low revs in every gear. But if I plant my foot (in any gear) you get the spooling up then it gets louder and louder. Very noticeable and usually kicks in at 4k revs but only when pedal is dropped. feels a tad slower than it...

Have a loud whistling on acceleration from the engine bay. Changed the knackered old TIP for a badger 5 a few months back but still have the loud whistle. Assuming its a boost leak? how do I locate it? And is there a common place for a boost leak that I should check first? Charge pipe perhaps?

I have a pair of 10mm FK hubcentric spacers for sale if you want em? No bolts though.

Thanks for the link Bill. I tried to explain but he's not getting it. Guess he's not familiar with good engineering! The fact that nearly all S3 mods include a B5 TIP says it all really. It has certainly improved mine for sure.

I read on here somewhere that the Badger 5 TIP with jetex cone can add an extra 20bhp? Can someone clarify please? And if so, how so? I've just fitted mine and I have no explanation to a friend why the increase is around 20bhp. He reckons its just a hose...
