Yes the close button is illuminated, when I say it opens too far I mean higher than normal.:think:

Has anybody had a problem with the power tailgate switch? I can open from drivers door and external button but when I press the switch on the tailgate edge it doesn't close, to close I have to press the external button. It also looks that it is opening to far. Frustrated you bet.:uhm:

Gupsterg - wow that's a detailed reply, hopefully at the weekend - weather permitting I will take a look. It is probably the seal which needs PTFE but might strip out and clean all components. Again thanks for the info - Roly :respekt:

My rear wiper today started working of it's own accord and eventually parking in varying positions, pushed stork on and off to no avail. I washed the Avant yesterday and now thinking if this has caused it - water ingress, although the car has been washed many times and this problem not showing...

I have a very poor radio reception in my avant, has anybody got any ideas? was thinking could it be the amplifier. Also heated door mirrors where is the fuse as cant find in owners book. Thanks to all in advance - Roly
