ok well just to update my last thread, just filed the tank, been driving steady for last few weeks,using country roads instead of fast main roads,and got 711 miles out of tank,thats got to be it,dont think i will get anymore, im told its got a 55 litre tank,does anyone know any different

Im running a standard 2006 1.9tdi, getting 650 miles on a full tank,i i have changed my driving style to get this kind of mileage,i did drive like i stole it ,now its like miss daisy, which must be arond 62 mpg,,

i had the same problem on my a3, took it to audi and they said its the brake control unit,which they replaced under warranty, hope this helps,

Lava grey is the best ,i clay-bar mine every 3 months to get rid of salt/tar and other road crap,i use meguiers gold and carnuaba wax,looks great,really deep shine,originally wanted met blue but after a bit of confusion at the dealers i had this one,glad i did,like a mirror when clean,

Hi, im regarding empty as needle just hitting bottom of empty, but im sure youre right about once it registers empty there could be atleast 1 gallon left, i had a 3series bmw some years ago and once it said empty i could get 100+ miles, thanks for your help mate
