checked fuse and its fine, had a read up on the after run pump, apparently only kick in if temp reaches 110 c. so will have to do a few experiments to see if it is broken.
got an x reg S3 and wen engine is turned off you hear a sound from engine, been told its like a turbo timer that keeps pumping the oil round for a few mins..but recently noticed its not doing it anymore? is this a bad thing??? any ideas?
take the door trim off and ya should be able to adjust the door frame from behind that. can adjust in/out and up/down. its easy to do once the trim is off.
they do come off but they are tricky! have to pull jets right up and get a couple small flat head screw drivers to prize the clips. bit of patience will pay off! they do wear tho so can become loose. easy enough to buy new ones and get a bodyshop to blow them in. easy job . dont bodge...do it...
cant imagine that'd work? but ya never know...personally i'd take it to a garage that has a code reading and resetting computer and get them to plug it in. its a 5 min job so dont let them charge you summit stupid! dont take it to audi tho as they'd pull ya pants down jus to reset it!
yeah any respray under 1300 wouldn't be good work. i would say nearer 1800+ depending how much work is involved, vehicle condition...colour choice..engine bay included? etc..if done properly would look alot nicer than the vynl wrap!
frame is easily adjusted, jus need the door trim off and there's adjusters for in and out and up and down. had to do mine as some numpty hadn't aligned it properly and it had wind noise.
yeah dont jack the door, best to just adjust the hinges. be easy enough to get too and remember wen adjusting it go a little higher than the desired level as door will drop slighty under its weight.
its a clip on the window regulator, little blue one that guides the window. it brakes so wen the window goes up it has too much movement and tilts so its brain tells it to go back down! pain in the ***! had it on mine and they dont sell the clip seperately so ya have to buy a new regulator...it...
cool, cheers! will have to give it a go! any recommendations on oil to use, been using mobile 1 0w 40 fully synthetic, heard castrol 0w 40 full syn is quite popular?
