Hi Chaps
Im the Dave Brown, my company is Vagbremtechnic.
We've done the conversion to fit the TTRS Calipers to the B5 & B7 S4 & RS4, but unless you want to do the conversion properly in preparation for a track day then i don't think it would work.....please let me explain
We...
Ahhhh... So this would be me stepping on your toes...... didn't mean to..
Got lots of old stock that needs to go before year end, if there's anything you can do with these, let me know.
all top, quality CNC billet stuff hard anodised and made on the same MAZAK machine that makes for Red Bull...
The brackets and spigots are about £1000 for all 10 sets, discs are about £50 per pair from memory, got some bolts knocking about. Machining probably £25 plus Vat. The discs from APEC are the 5 hole versions, dead straight forward
just needs somebody to organise it all
Just found this...
Please dont fit Boxster rears or 996 rears or cayman rears or any other porsche Caliper beginning with 9xx.352 on the front of anything
At Aragon......
I'm not an idiot mate....you might want to revise your maths mate, 3000 psi in a VAG....lol
I've got a metered...
Holy thread resurrection.....
I'be probably got about 10 sets of the brackets left to convert the 300mm rears to TT S3 R32
if somebody was interested themselves in organising getting say 10 sets of S4 rears Re PCD to 5x100 and a disc mounting screw machined in I'd let them go very affordably...
Got your PM
ifmtheyndont fit you've probably got 288mm carriers, can you post a pic of the back of the carrier showing the hub mounting holes.
312s are 312s you probably got done over by the scrappy
As you all know the RS3 shares the brakes with the TTRS. It's air to say that they haven't been without their share of problems...vibration poor stopping have all been well documented.
Just to advise you that due to the different offset on the RS3 to take into account the unique front wings...
Hi just got reading this dont get on here much.
Ok, not wanting to sound like a killjoy but unless you know what you are doing its probably not a good idea to rebuild your calipers unless you've watched somebody do it before, theres not much to it but theres a few steps / gotchas that could...
They look fantastic mate, it was a good/right decision to go OEM, must have felt good just to fit them with no issues about fitment.
****** to the cost mate we're here for a good time not a long time!!!
They do look great dont they!
Coming together now bud!
Its crap mate, you'd hate it
Brother flys an airbus, I fly a rather large sporting bizjet, he wants my flying and performance I want his Roster!
It quickly becomes just a job after a few months mate, but theres no point telling you that is there!
All the best with your career...
I'm a skipper on one of the larger bizjets and can safely say I wish I was doing more flying in 172's, never had as much fun as when I used to teach on them. Can still remember the days I passed my PPL and did my Quali-xcountry!
Just get some air traffic guy telling me how high, how fast and...
The 362mm discs with that AP kit are the same weight as a stock disc.....9.8kg with a bell
The saving is in the caliper, haviung said that in many ways the setup is worse as the disc mass is in the periphery which makes it act like a very efficient Gyro. Gyros always want to stay erect and do...
Almost certain the RS4 Ceramic calipers are 6 pot and not the normal 8 pot. The caliper is from the same family as the Porsche Carrera GT rear
Heres some Carrera Gt Rears reconfiged to Audi Ceramic, converted to steel and running on an RS6 Disc
