    Plenum chamber bungs

Hi, i am fully aware of the consequences of having a flooded plenum chamber due to the rubber grommets getting blocked. Mine has had the one below the battery removed completely, possibly by main audi dealer, tonight i was trying to poke my finger through the one below the brake servo, but i...

Hi, my 2004 1.8T quattro s-line needs some new boots soon, currently running Goodyear F1 GSD3's which i really like, but are quite expensive. I have read some good reviews on the Vredestein ultrac sessanta, and the tread pattern looks cool too. Has anyone used these tyres? what about Falken...

Wheel spacers on my 1.8T quattro s-line 190.

Hi there, my 1.8T quattro s-line is totally standard, it's got the 18" ronal 5 spokes, was just wandering about wheel spacers to bring the wheels out a bit, don't want it looking chavvy just a bit of a meaner wider stance. Not sure if just the rears or front and rear, what thickness spacers, if...

What would get bent, top arms or main bearing housing?

Had a 4 wheel alignment done by main dealer during the week, they got all wheels in spec except front left camber, the maximum it should be out is -1 degree 12 minutes, mine was -1 degree 53 minutes. I know the previous owner had an altercation with a lorry at some traffic lights, it swung...

Running on 3 cylinders, everyone should carry a spare coil.

Today my car started running on 3 cylinders, 1.8T 190bhp, i pulled over, reached in the glovebox and removed the new, boxed coil i bought for my recent trip to scotland, within 5 minutes i was on the road again firing on all 4. Everyone using these sorts of coils, i would highly recommend you...

    Quattro front tyre wear

Hi, my 1.8T quattro 190 s-lines front tyres (235/40/18) goodyear F1 GSD3's seem to be wearing a bit heavier on the inside edges on the front ones, is this common on the quattros that wear wide tyres or do you think the tracking needs checking. I like the look and confidence the F1 gsd3's give...
