Sand all rust off and use 500ml spray can of rustoleum galva zinc either grey or alloy, stops rust coming back and looks oem:thumbsup:

Well after selling my old 04 A3 2.0TDI Sport 5 years ago (regretting it ever since) and getting through a 3.2v6 DSG TT and Civic Type R Premier edition, im very happy to be an A3 owner again, managed to get a well cared for 2006 A3 TDI Sport with Bluetooth, Auto lights etc, over the moon! :)
