Yep its for the avant, the first part (8E9) denotes avant, (8E0) denotes saloon. The (F) part is single cut out for exhaust.
so 8E9-807-521-F-GRU = Avant one cut out
8E9-807-521-G-GRU = Avant two cut outs
8E9-807-521-H-GRU = Avant no cut outs.
They all should come with the black...
The avant rear tailgate is the same for se or sport. The tailgate s-line/gmbh spoiler is simply bonded onto the exsisting tailgate top.
This link should hopefully help, (thanks to Mattyboyc) http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a4-a4-cabriolet-s4-forum-b6-chassis/115765-upgrade-mod.html
Cheers.
I thought the only 150bhp tt made was the roadster and that the lowest power tt coupe was the 180bhp. I am sure all the UK coupes came with the 4wd haldex system.
Hi Guys got a Question for all who have fitted HID kits, has anyone fitted a kit that does not interfere with the radio reception.
Fitted Hid's to my last audi and they were a dramatic improvement over standard and I had no error messages what so ever. The only downfall was poor to no radio...
If you haven't got the sport model you could always find a cheap second hand set of genuine sport springs. They will not drop the car to the floor but it will sit lower than the SE model.
Good luck in finding the cause, when you do find it please let me know what it was as I have had this problem for a while and after much money spent with diagnosis and component replacement I have not yet got to the bottom of it!
For info the car shows no engine error codes what so ever. Go...
The MAF is not directly related to ignition timing advancement it's related to the air/fuel ratio. To change stock ignition sttings you need to get the car "Re-mapped" to do this.
Just changing the MAF will not effect ignition maps.
Any modifications away from stock ie bigger turbo...
Interesting data, seems you have quite a bit of knock (pinking) being detected on all Cf banks. Based on my experiance with my car this is when the map takes timing advance out due to detection of pinking. It ideally should not read much above 3.0 occasionally.
The cause will could be lack of...
*UPDATE*
Well replaced the fuel pump after the last one packed up and left me at the side of the road. I was hopeing that a weak pump would of been the cause of the cars hesitation problems............
So pump replaced and test drive carried out and still have exactlly the same problem as...
The reason for lack of boost may be just down to the fact that the revo trial as finished. Fault codes normally have to be reset after component replacement but this may or may not have an overall effect depending on the system effected.
Bypassing the N75 isn't advisable and can lead to other...
I put on an uprated diverter valve (forge if I remember correctly) befor I had the car re-mapped knowing that these are a weak spot. My hesitation is not aggresive but but would describe it as wave like. I know my boost levels are correct as the vagcom logs show requested and actuall boost...
Jimmy,
I have had a similar problem since I had my 1.8t revo'd. Mine is great on light throttle but if on full throttle around peak boost (3000 rpm ish) I get this surging / hesitating that you mention from then on throughout the rev range. I have replaced many things to get to the bottom of...
Well that quote is a contradiction, the only way you can get a continuous difference in wheel speeds is by having different rolling radius which itself can only happen by having different tread depths !
Go figure that one out.....
The one thing that hasn't changed in all this is that my rear...
Firstly the manual actually tells you to only change all 4 tyres at the same time to keep the same tyre depth and overall rolling radius the same per axle. The crown and pinion will wear because of incorrect pre-loading and backlash on the diff due to the different rolling radius of one axle to...
If it's for a short term and you are not doing many miles then it shouldn't be any problem.
The Differential is designed to allow wheels to turn at different speeds to each other (when the car is turning for example). You only run into problems when both tyres are replaced on one axle and not...
A quick way of telling if you have the right shock absorbers are that the OEM sports ones are red !
To make sure you need to look at a parts catalouge for all the correct part numbers. There are various online ones you can use.
Good Luck !
