I reset the service interval on my 2009 S3 using VCDS.
I used the reset SRI button and it ran through the motions fine. I choose the variable long life service from the drop down in VCDS and it stated that it completed successfully.
The car continues to say " service due " and it still shows...
Paul100 - Let us know if you have any joy with the non HC sd card.
I knew the older RNS-E head units didnt like HCSD cards but I thought it was a case of they would play everything or nothing at all. Not selected tracks.

Thanks for the reply.
Card is formatted to FAT32. The files play on cd-r in the 6 disc changer. Files are being copied from windows 7.
Only thing I am unsure is if they are over 320 mbps ? How would I find out ? I take it this is a requirement for them to play ?
Hi
I have a 59 plate S3 with RNS-E headunit fitted.
The issue I have is it will not play certain files stored on my SD card. All files are mp3 format but only some of them appear on the list of stored of files on the card.
I have tried formatting the card and putting only one file on it...

The clutch has started slipping on the car a while back but it was intermittent which i couldnt get my head around. Done my research on here and found out alot of people were stating that if the DMF was faulty it could give these symptoms.
Booked it in to stirling audi and credit to them...
Just a quick note to the people that replied previously.
Just got the car back from audi. Clutch flywheel and slave cylinder all replaced under warranty !
Their diagnosis was the slave cylinder was sticking, which in turn damaged the clutch and flywheel.
Something to look out for if your...
Thanks for your help guys.
I am struggling to get my head round this ! I have never known a clutch to slip intermittently. if it is worn it should get progressively worse not come and go.
I am thinking about leaving it for a while to see if it develops.
I will let you know how I get on.
When I say "floor it" I mean relatively low revs for relatively high gear. Clutch should not slip at all. doesnt matter what gear you are in and what revs you are at.
eg. I was cruising in fourth gear at 40mph this morning stuck behind somebody on a very long straight. When it was safe to do...
Hi all,
after having a look through the site I have noticed quite a few posts on clutchs slipping, although most of the posts are from owners of re-mapped and or tuned cars.
I have a standard 07 plate S3 with 30k on the clock.
The car has developed intermittent clutch slip. Usually low...

It didnt come with any other interfaces to allow me to fit my ipod classic.

After owning an 1.8T quattro for a few years it is time to change.

The main reason I went for my quattro just now is that it is 180 bhp where as...
