Hi, I just bought a 08 S-Line and I'm disapointed with the brightness of the MMI screen I have tried adjusting the dash light control, and the in menu display brighness control, but it only seems to dim/brighten the display by a miniscule amount Its virtually unreadable during daylight hours...

I find the same problem in my A4 Avant 170 S-Line - very flat until about 2300-2500rpm ... then whoosh ! all the power at once. I took it to a local car tuners, and asked about remapping to see if the torque band could be lowered, and was told that it would make minimal difference to the lower...

I thought that might be a fly in the ointment ! I thought perhaps there would be a LHD to RHD 'switch' or adjuster on the lamp unit, ,,,, ah well . its was worth a punt :)

Sorry for yet another question on the subject of Xenons. I'd love to fit them to my A4 Avant S-Line 170 , and I don't really want to put in the cheapo HID kits if at all possible. I have seen genuine Xenon headlamps for sale on eBay in Germany pretty reasonable, and wondered if anyone had fitted...
