    S3 Relocating battery in boot

Wouldn't have thought you would have any problems putting the battery in the boot. There is the correct space under the spare parts foam for it to go, next to the spare wheel, which is just left empty! Thought about doing myself but never got round to it. The 3.2 has the battery in the boot so...

    Bye, bye...

Very nice Jamie, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I was in my local dealer the other day and they've got one exactly the same in their showroom. I must admit, I generally just glance over the cars in the showroom and go at look at any I fancy in my own time but this TT I had to go and look...

What Colour Alloys on a Phantom Black S3???

Bright/hyper silver for me. Look nice and bright and contrast with the black. Mind you, not that a black car is black very often with the weather we've had lately!

How many people with stage 2 s3? Or running more than 350bhp

Been running mine with Stage 2+ and the usual bolt on goodies for about 25K now. I've never really had any issues, apart from the occasional flutter and very occasional clutch slip (when it's freezing cold) until recently! It's currently in my local Audi garage as the clutch is being...

My S3 brakes do not stop squeaking!

My original pads used to squeal all the time. I needed new pads and discs a while back and put on OEM parts and not heard a dicky bird out of them. I guess Audi must have changed them, probably following all the complaints they've had!

Service Due - Revo, Evoms situation + one other question about wheels

Yeah, 18" look pretty good. Obviously not as hardcore as 19" but pretty good anyway. I think the SB must have slightly less clearance to the rear than the 3 dr. I seem to remember someone else had a slight rubbing issue with their SB when fitting spacers a while back. Must be the rear end design.

Service Due - Revo, Evoms situation + one other question about wheels

I've done two services now with Audi, both with the Revo map on - no issues. First service was just an oil change so I left the Evoms on, second included an air filter change so I put the standard airbox back on. I didn't really want to but I just didn't want any evidence on the service record...

Fitted BBS CK's to my S3

Very, very nice. I know CK's are not new on the scene but everytime you see them they just look stunning.

    Revo trial - my experience.

Always makes me laugh when a thread brings up a name of a company close to home, but this ones brought up 2! APD have done all the work on my car and I too can't fault them. As you mention James, really enthusiastic and know their stuff. Just after I got stage 1 loaded on my car a couple of...

New discs and pads needed - recommendations please

Cheers guys, Unfortunately things got a bit to noisy and uncomfortable, I had to start using the handbrake to slow down around town as the grinding was unbearable. So I popped into the garage that does the work on my car and they put some OEM discs and pads on this morning. I'm not to bothered...

New discs and pads needed - recommendations please

Yeah best to do it yourself. I popped into Audi on thursday to see whether somebody could have a quick look and try to get them changed on warranty but they were to busy. The earliest they could take a look was next wednesday, so I had to book it in. Had a look myself thursday night and thats...

New discs and pads needed - recommendations please

Cheers guys, Just what I was looking for, some recommendations. Can't seem to find a lot of options for the 8P S3 at the moment so will have a good trawl round today. I'll probably go with some EBC ones as there's a GSF just up the road and it's easy. I'll pop in there this morning to see what...

New discs and pads needed - recommendations please

Well, following the track sessions at ADI last weekend I managed to completely finish off my front brake pads. They started to make a scraping/grinding noise after my second session but I just thought it was some build up on the discs but it didn't go away. As the week has gone by the noise has...

    15 minutes of fame?!

I think you've got it wrong Warren. Your fifteen minutes of fame, I think Allan McNish looks more excited to be photographed with you than vise versa!

    S3 on track at ADI

Great vids guys. Nice to follow a session lap by lap as opposed to just a couple of glimpses.

S3 grouping at Audi Driver International?

Cheers Warren. Thanks for posting the pics, always a surprise to see yourself "up on the screen" so to speak. Good to you meet you and Staz and the others (sorry others, I'm crap with names and met so many different people that day with at least two different names, I struggled trying to...

    roof rail's oem

Hi guys, I've sent out the PDF to you all. Hope you all got it, let me know if you didn't. When I retro fitted mine on my last A3 I bought a kit from VAG parts, but as you all probably know, they've gone down now so I wouldn't have thought it's still available. It came with the roof rails...

    A3 8P 6 pounds and 30 mins grill converstion:)

Hi Luke, how you doing? That's not a bad little mod for the money. It's one of those you can try for a couple of quid and it really makes a difference to the way your car looks but the best bit is that after living with it for a while and if you decide you don't like it, you can take it off! I...

    Passenger mirror

Hi mate, I've got a passenger side auto-dimming mirror if you want it. I bought it ages ago as part of a long term project but I'm struggling to find all the other bits at reasonable prices so I've kind of given up. It's the one with the black surround and it's got the blind spot curve on the...

S3 Engine Mounts on Phase 2 Car

It's funny how these exhausts are fine when they're first put on but in a small amount of time they just need a little "tweek" after they've settled down to put them right again. I don't think it's always the case but it certainly was with mine. Sounds like you need to get it up on the ramps...
