So I needed to do an oil change and got back to looking for the right dipstick again.
Thank you desertstorm for posting that link, from it I was able to discover that a 2010 Q7 3.0TDI uses the same dipstick tube as my 2012 A5 which lead me on to the part number for the dipstick being 059 115...
Hi, does anyone know the part no. of a dipstick to suit a face lift 2012 A5 Sportback 3.0 TDI? I've bought the 059 115 611 AB one and it's too long. After searching google i'm none the wiser, only that on the Q5 it's nearer 19.5" long using 06E 115 611 H. I think it's to do with a shorter...
Hi all,
I have the exact same issue on a A3 2005 2.0 TDI. Wouldn't start - wound over until the oil pressure warning light comes on etc.
Checked the fuel at the fuel filter and sprays out well when it's turning over :/, but taking on board what was written here I filled the tank up to the top...
Today i have activated the cruise control! Hurrah!!
So I discovered that to activate the cruise, the module first has to be recoded (I used 0011111 no idea if any other works), this gives the fault code as per my last post.
Now the login code 11463 is accepted by the controller! At this point...
Still no luck with this. I checked clutch and brake switch values and the 3 bits change as you would expect.
Anyone know if i can just short circuit across the connectors, if i unplug it, to eliminate the switches as the problem?
Am i correct in thinking that I won't receive any cc stalk...
Haven't checked the brake switch operation..... I will try bypassing, is it NC or NO? However would this make a difference to entering the login code to the engine module? Anyone have any idea about the coding for my engine module 8E0 910 401 K, mines 0011911, after searching around I've seen...
If cruise was already enabled, then what other reason would it not be working? I changed swcm coding from 04001 to 04041 enabling DIS at same time, checked clutch switch operation. Could the cruise stalk not be working? As you have prob seen already it shows: 3.0L V6TDI 000SG 0040 is this the...
If you're wondering why it's a month old log it's because I've been on this a while and have been speaking to ross-tech and still haven't got to the bottom of the problem. So thought someone here might be able to help
I believe so it's a 8E0 953 549 Q. Have been able to recode this Address 16 no problem, would this affect the login of the engine module? Also I checked the clutch switch and values are changing as you would expect.
Hi everyone, I am trying to enable cruise control on my 2006MY A4 B7 3.0TDI. I can not get the engine control module to accept the 11463 login. It just comes back with a warning 'Login code not accepted by controller'. I am using the current version of VCDS. The module is short coded to 0011911...
I'd agree with you, i just can't understand how it can be. It's a fair few mm out and if the flywheel was out by that much surely it would show up when running. There's hardly much room for it to be in the wrong place within the casing of the bell housing.
I've considered whether i've tighten...
Just to continue this one on as i'm still struggleing with it. I found that the starter drive cog won't engage into the fly wheel, i've removed the solenoid from the starter and now trying to engage it in and out by hand. It doesn't, just pushes up against the side of the flywheel and the teeth...
Hi everyone,
I'm pulling my hair out with this one, I've changed the clutch in my 2005 3.0TDI B7, had the flywheel off to inspect and put it back, as far as i can tell in the correct position.
Anyway i go to start the car for the first time and the starter motor just spins and appears not to...
You should have a generation 2+ head unit, your best option is a Dension Gateway 300 GW33AC1. This allows you to navigate your ipod using the DIS display, MFSW and does show track name etc.
Put GW33AC1 into Google and see the first youtube video.
