    You can fit an S3 FMIC which is larger then the standard diesel FMIC or there are other FMIC upgrades that can be done if you wish.

    It`s fourth gear R32`s tend to strip in the standard 02M box when going turbo so most people fit diesel gears as they are stronger and much longer so you then have a useful 1st gear and higher top speed.     Unless any car is heavily modified and producing a lot more torque then standard stick with a DMF on both petrol and diesel cars. SMF sound bad on petrol cars and ****** terrible on diesel cars.
