I'm looking to purchase this and wondering if there are any current group buys active or if anyone knows where I can purchase it direct for the lowest price.
Great looking car mate, what size and fit are your wheels and are they OEM or reps? They're quite concave in shape and thought that was only possible with really low et values like et25.
Just a long shot here, I'm wondering if anyone in the Birmingham area has the above wheel or set of wheels spare in 5x112 with tyres, and would be kind enough to let me try one wheel on a Tiguan to see how it looks.
I'm expecting very little chance of this happening but thought I'd ask...
Hi I think he's more after a standard set you can get on ebay rather than something that will work with the vehicle electronic. Something along the lines of linked to the reverse light with a normal buzzer unit.
Has anyone retrofitted a set of parking sensors to a 55-plate A6? A mate of mine wants them done and I wanted to see if there was a how-to on here or any advice someone could offer me. I'm assuming the whole bumper needs to be removed?
Hi I have a problem in that the passenger door on a TT Coupe doesn't open with either the exterior or interior handle! There is resistance in both handles when pulled so I know the cable hasn't snapped, but I think its a problem with the deadlock being jammed.
I have tried disconnecting the...
If its a forward facing seat for a child up to 4 years you can't go wrong with a Britax Duo Isofix. That's what I use and what is sold by dealers too. The fit is perfect with Isofix mountings and you can get the seat into the car via the doors rather than have to resort to the tailgate.
You...
Thanks, I managed to sort it yesterday. Quite a bit of the dash had to be dismantled to remove the hazard switch but once out I was able to run my tester on the contacts and found the right wires which send power to both left and right indicators. This probably took alot longer than taking it...
Ok, the clicking only comes from the Hazard switch on the centre of the dash so I'm presuming the relay is within that? If so its going to be quite difficult to pull it out far enough to get to the right wires to tap into.
Ok, thanks but would you know roughly where the relay would be located as there are relays in the engine bay, under the dash by the bus bar and also behind the outer kick panels by the doors. I need to connect to both left and right feeds so that my newly located indicators flash as per the...
Can anyone advise a way of tapping into the wing mounted indicator wiring? I unclipped the lense today and found there was no slack in the wiring and I couldn't see where it went. Ideally I'd like to know where the wiring goes from the wing - is into the engine bay then the cabin, or into some...
Hi does anyone know if its possible to get a matt silver (brushed aluminium) type finish from a bodyshop? I want something painted to resemble matt aluminium as close as possible.
Hi can someone suggest a suitable filler to use on the ABS plastic mirror casings? I have a project I'm working on and I used P38 on my initial prototype but it left tiny pin holes in the finish. Admitting I didn't use wet and dry paper but is there a better filler to use.
I will eventually...
The sidelights themselves have their own respective fuses so surely there is a way to send power to them from another circuit, when the light switch is off?
Hi has anyone know, or in fact done, a mod whereby your sidelights come on when the car is unlocked? The feed would come from the interior courtesy light, and presumably switched by a relay? I'm just wondering if its already been done or how it could be done.
I've seen that the coloured wires...
Hi can you tell us how wide that LED section is in the front grill so I can tell if it will fit on the front of my TT. I know that they're supposed to be roughly 52cm long but wondering if there was any chance of shortening them somehow for other car applications. Great job by the way!! :)
