    Audi a4 2003

Hi, I know it's been some years, did you manage to track down the issue? I am having an issue with the Right xenon low beam Code 00979 lamp for low beam right (31) 57-00 electrical circuit failure. From brief reading of some other posts, It may be a body control module, I've replaced the...

    Rock hit condenser

Jeez that must've been a big rock, any pics of the damage? Physical damage so it won't be warrantied just like a rock hitting the windshield won't be either. Won't have luck with Audi, if there was roadworks or material leftover on the road then you could chase up council maybe?...

    Shorter Rear Wiper?

Both pretty similar/identical. The updated wiper looks nicer and more flush without the bulkness of the old arm. Bought off ebay for $18usd. Or you can do the rear wiper delete if you don't use it:salute:

    1.8T , Engine can't maintain normal operating temperature.... ?

Sorry to hear, that would be frustrating. Are the sensors genuine too? Have you tried scanning car for any codes? Do you hear/see both fans running on full?

    Reverse light

All that wiring from the tail light will run along the rear pillar up towards the rear trim in a rubber shield, usually i get a wire clothes hanger with some tape on the end of it to try and feed it through. That's how I got mine fitted. Do you have a multimetre or test light to confirm?

You may also need a relay/filter for the camera to work due to the canbus system.

    Shorter Rear Wiper?

I bought a new updated aeroier version from a newer A3 model, fits better and more flush. My old wiper arm hinge was cracked too. You can try adjusting the wiper arm resting position higher when you refit the wiper arm.

    Creaky Steering :-(

I have learnt to just live with the creaking, spraying the rubber mounts give no relief to the creak.

    1.8T , Engine can't maintain normal operating temperature.... ?

Usually unable to heat up is the T-stat stuck open, overheat could be T-stat not opening. What brand part did you fit? I know many new aftermarket replacement parts can be faulty. Did you sort this out already? Good to hear the outcome if so.

    Power steering noise

Did you also bleed the system? Sometimes air can get trapped too. But good to hear all sorted.

    Cleaning interior of glass

I think the product you use to apply and wipe off the product is very important in not leaving smears behind. I got myself Bowdens naked glass spray and have a glass specific mitt which cleans up great. Crystal clear and no smears.

    Unlock lights

Does your Dash and stalk allow you to get into the settings for 'Lights'? On my a3 8p it has the options for coming home durations.

    Camber adjustment

I have heard from some other uses that they provide very minor/fine adjustments, however not really enough if you're chasing a certain camber setting which only adjustable control arms could do.

    oil warning light?

Best to try and get a hold with someone that can use VCDS to scan, I know with previous experiences some workshop generic scanners would show up with no fault codes, then the Audi/Vw specific scan tools would show up with the faults. If the oil level is fine and you've confirmed, then definitely...
