Sorry I can't help you with this. I think it is something to do with your mapping. Mine is custom mapped at stage 2 by Ecotune and the torque comes in hard and fast from below 2k and holds strong until about 5.2/5.3k. Ecotune told me the scorpion downpipe was very effective even with a sports...
The fastest stage 2 RS3 on the RS3 dragy leader board for 100-200 has a Scorpion downpipe. I've also got the Scorpion downpipe with the same stage 2 map. The map removes the cold start cycle so no wastegate rattle at all. Both cars are FL DAZA. I don't worry about dyno figures, it's how quick...
Hope this explains things better than I did:

APR basically offer 3 maps - stage 1, stage 1+ and stage 3. Stage 1+ is basically their revised stage 2 offering (since they did away with stage 2) that does away with the need for the downpipe (all down to emissions and law suits in the US - there is a bit of support for it on Audizine in the...
No it always defaults to comfort (even though it says dynamic on the dash if that is the last mode used) in the UK. Its to do with emissions laws and not being able to start up in the most polluting mode. There is loads written about on the 8V Facebook page. I didnt know until I found out on...
Wish we had e85 at the pump in the UK. Would be a massive step up at stage 1 or 2.
I've only ever used comfort mode once and hated it for a RS3. I only ever use dynamic and cycle round to it each time I start up.
The stage 1 ecu map can adapt a bit to changes to keep it safe. The stage 1+ map is designed specifically for the essential inclusion of the intercooler and and intake (unlike the Unitronic stage 1+) - changes to boost, ignition timing etc etc. You can also specify stage 1+ with high grip or low...
I had the APR stage 1+ ecu tune. Had it with the TVS stage 2+ TCU tune. Couldn't fault it, very smooth in its power/torque delivery, with just intake mods and an intercooler upgrade. I would definitely recommend it. Gone Ecotune stage 2 now and that is a complete step up
I might be doing the Eibach pro or sport kit soon. Will be staying on 19's with spacers. The place where I have them fitted will recalibrate the mag ride for me
These are what I'm looking at for the FL hatch - they are listed seperately for the saloon. Speak to Dan or Simon at CLP and they will sort you out - lots of choice and very good advice.

I'm thinking of having my front pads done this week when I go from stage 1.5 to stage 2. The front discs are good so after reading round, particularly on FB, I think will go EBC Blue Stuff to keep the wear indicators. Might be slightly more dust with EBC but had them on other cars and they were...
You would need to have a stage 2 or custom map to fit a sports cat due to the effects of the reduced back pressure. There's not too much difference between a good sports cat e.g. Scorpion and a decat in real terms.
I asked about running a sports cat with my existing stage 1+ map and my tuner...
I'm sure the Wagner will be perfect for your set up. If stage one was a generic map with MRC then I guess all would be ok. If it was a custom tune, you would no doubt get more bhp/torque from a map tweak as the intake temps are now much lower. Just give them a quick call.
You have to be quick. Apparently they sell out as soon as they come in to stock. Just been out on a run in mine and the noises are amazing at all rpm. People way up the road turn round to see what it is. Well worth the wait.
It is a good piece of kit. This seems an isolated incident? When I had mine fitted, I was told all was straight forward. There is someone from Revo on this forum who comments on posts but hasn't on this one? Let's hope someone gets to the bottom of it or Revo could lose some sales.
Is anyone running Unitronic stage 2 on the FL? I'm thinking about this as it's a convenient flash at home option and it seems to be hogging the top of the dragy leader board for stage 2 FL tunes. I just need to add a sports cat as I've already got an uprated intercooler and intake for my...
If I was in your position and not wanting to fit them myself, I would order discs and pads from CLP Automotive and get a local mechanic or garage to fit them for me. I've included a link for CLP for you for the brake parts...
