There has definitly been a change of late which started with the annoying message requesting that your ad blocking software was disabled so it would appear to be a concious decision to push adverts. Fortunately most decent applications are able to negate this with no negative effect.

Who did you use for the pump replacement and what was the cost if you don't mind sharing?

Used to love a fast Vauxhall. Have had two MK1 Astra GTE's, a 1.8 MK2 and then the 2.0 16V. Returned to Vauxhall a few years after selling the "valver" and got a Nova SRI and promptly put a 20XE in to go drag racing. They don't make a decent fast Vauxhall hatch these days (IMO) sadly.

This is something that I have an issue with. Mapped or not this is actually a recall as opposed to an issue arising whilst in a warranty period. Bolts backing out on a cover within the gearbox is not something that is directly affected by mapping or upgrades. It is however a fault either by...

One of the suggestions I have read, other than the stem seals, is oil getting into the spark plug recess if the seal between the valve cover and head isn't good. Could be worth a look.

What's the likelyhood of Audi turning round and refusing to honour the recall work completly if they find that the engine or box have been mapped?

Presumably this pump sits within the gearbox or can it be accessed externally?

Appreciate the feedback, it does seem that a trip to the HQ will hopefully be the most straightforward outcome. The installer can make or break the experience of a product and the impression I'm getting is that if installed and set up correctly the Pandora systems are a good bit of kit.

I've been looking at the Storm Plus myself recently and wondering if it would be a good idea. Is there a particular installer that anyone would recommend? Alternatively the Pandora HQ isn't too far away from me so could just visit them I guess.
