I want to test drive an Audi A3 3 Door 1.4 TFSI, but there are none local so I am wondering what the nearest equivalents are? I can try a 1.4 TSI Golf SE, or a 1.4 TFSI A3 Sportback (5 Door). Which would be the best in terms of the drive and engine performance? Having an A3 already...

I've sent you a PM that may help. My A3 has all that you mention plus much more... Only problem is when trying to find a new one with it all on, or a a brand new one that then costs a fortune in options.

Clean and wax is fine, however... Snow Foam will help shift bugs. I find it best to cover the car in foam when dry, let it dwell for say 5 mins then blast off. You'll still need to wash the car with your mitt but the bugs should be easier to get off. I find Quixx Bug Remover works well...

Sorry for the slight hi-jack but it is relevant. What is cheaper and easy: get my Ibis White A3 with Optics and change the surround to Chrome, or keep it standard and fit just the optics grill and keep the existing chrome? Thanks.

You apply the EGP after SRP, and yes put on a nice thin layer and leave it for an hour before you buff it off. Then leave it 24 hours and repeat or just add another layer of EGP the next time you wash the car. HTHs.
