I'm not sure, don't know why it doesn't do it when launching or going from 3rd to 2nd, only when it's going down from 2 gears up, I don't often use the kickdown but it worries me a bit.

I've had my vag-com on the car and it says theres no faults, Well other than one unknown fault, But this weekend I will buy a boost gauge and see what the cars running. Will it be ok to tap the gauge into the dump valve diaphram side.. And thanks for your help mate..

Does my s4 have an electronic control valve to control the boost, And if so can I bypass it, And if the turbos went pop thats not too bad, But the engine Omfg, I've had an Nissan sunny gti-r and that run high boost and twice on the motoway it melted a piston and it melted the liner aswell...

Hi all just bought an s4 and it seems to have a problem. The car has an big power surge up to about 3500rpm then holds back and then at about 4500rpm seems to kick back in again, its not a massive loss of power but its well noticable.The car has done 113000 miles and ive just had the ecu remaped...
