Hi Pete, I've got Carista and its much more simple to use compared to Obdeleven. With OBD eleven you need to purchase credits. With Carista you pay like £30 for a year and you can activate everything that is supported on your vehicle. Its pretty cool tbh. You can also reset engine management light.

I'm not quite sure on the specs. Its not a simple swap. Correct me if i'm wrong but you have to get a battery with a BEM code and once fitted in you have to get it coded using VCDS. It's a pain in the backside. Why don't you just turn Start/Stop off?
