Okay, I’ve put a new battery in the key fob and it’s still not working. Any ideas?

The key still unlocks the drivers door etc yes, but not the boot

I’ve replace the battery in the fob to no avail. The boot won’t even unlock by putting the key in the lock now. I’ve checked all fuses and they all seem fine. Granted, I have put one back in the wrong place and now the wipers are dead. Does anyone know where I can get a fuse drawing to see...

After reading back through this I must have made a typo. It’s an 03 plate not 08 if that makes any difference. How are the modules checked?

I’ve checked all the fuses on the right had side of the steering wheel (under the plastic cover) and they all seem good. Is ther anything else I could check for a simple fix?

Yes, the windows won’t go up or down and the car won’t unlock with the fob. Could the battery be my problem? I thought it would be for the car not unlocking but would that stop the windows operating?

The key fob has stopped working altogether to unlock doors etc. Could it be a flat battery in the fob?
