CETE Valve controller something to take into consideration before you buy.

I have one, and reading this is frightning. Can you please keep us up to date with communications from CETE as to the cause of the malfunction....

Maybe silly question about car jack

OK so jacking points are clear...but then once it is up, where do you guys place the stands? For example if you are wanting to raise the whole car off the ground. This always terrifies me lol

    Saloon IE Exhaust

Hmmm curious as to the sound as well, but those tips........I dunno, the shape is all whacky. Hope they have some descent tips options when released.

    Facelift Exhaust Mods?

It's a revival...thread revival! :thumbs up: So for us stuck at the bottom of the globe and not able to make use of the chap at PCW who does all this amazing work, can anyone detail exactly what this mod involves? I have a sports exhaust on my 2017 RS3 Sedan so just looking at the possible...

    Tyre topic again

Oh yes, forgot the review part lol Well first of, and this may be a deal breaker for some, these tyres are noisy. Not as noisy as an R-spec tyre but certainly nosier than a MPS4S for example. However, in terms of performance I really don't have any complaints. These things stick to road...

    Metal RS4/6 Paddle Shifters

Are these actually bigger (taller) than our OEM ones? Not sure it's worth the change if they are the same size. If they stick up further than OEM then I'd be keen.

    Facelift Rear resonators

I already have the valve controller which made a descent difference (not dramatic, as essentially you aren't changing the exhaust itself). I'm pretty much set on the APR unit (catless). The cast section to me is one of the smoothest profiles in the market and I like they way they have a...

    Facelift Rear resonators

I was going to chop mine out but now that I've seen the inside I can't see it making enough difference to justify the cost. Will hold off and just do the DP. Post appreciated :)

    Gentlemanly revving safety

This post wins the internet today! :thumbs up: I guess another option is to tap the ESC button and just fire up launch control.....without the launch. Sounds pretty meaty :rockwoot:

CETE Valve control issues - anyone else?

Appreciate the response @123Quattro and it's good advice. Will keep an eye on it and definitely communicate with CETE should there be a re-occurance.

    Occasional rough idle?

Well S, and then across to M.....but yer it's ordinary. Luckily I don't pay for fuel :whistle2:

CETE Valve control issues - anyone else?

Mine actually had a hiccup the other day. Got back in to the car after a quick stop (5 min) and the controller appeared to not work at all. Auto Stop/start setting had been forgotten, drive mode went to default, ESC button did not control flaps, and could not initiate up unit by holding...

    Occasional rough idle?

I'm generally is "S" mode on the gearbox so the revs sit around 1100rpm at idle, but when I occasionally drop back to "D" and the rpm sit around 750-800rpm I have thought that it wasn't a particularly smooth idle. I just figured it was the nature of the engine. Maybe "S" dumps in a bit more...
