RS4 OEM Fuel Injectors 079 906 036 C - FOR SALE
Used for only 15k miles on a stage 3 Audi S3. Genuine OEM RS4 injectors x4 set. They will need new seals & the metal crown clip that holds them in place to re-install. -...
Audi S3 8P 3 dr 2.0 Tfsi Milltek Turbo back Exhaust 76mm-70mm.
Exhaust needs no welding work etc, it is all ready to be bolted together & put onto the car.
The exhaust is 76mm from the downpipe all the way to the first resonator then 70mm back to the tips. Mid pipe was replaced for a 76mm...
Hi thanks for your comment, I also thought maybe fueling but this would be more of an issue on the full-throttle than partial throttle which isn't the case, was told maybe vacuum leak but the car boosts with no issues. Unfortunately, I'm not local to Rtech & don't know anyone in West London that...
Hi all
Have been experiencing misfires under part throttle at midrange (3.5-4.5k) RPM. Curious to see if anyone else had the same issue & what they did to rectify it.
In brief, this only occurs at part throttle in the midrange, the car does not misfire at full throttle. You can hear the boost...
Thanks for the info, seems like Milltek system is probably restrictive due to high EGT at the downpipe. EGT can get very high at full throttle for extended periods which is where the BCS system has the major advantage with a better flow keeping the EGT down.
I will be going for the BCS...
Would stay well clear from RCIB & all brokers, they refuse to let you cancel the insurance without making you go through multiple procedures & on top of that you get charged a stupid amount for cancelling or any changes. After using brokers twice, I now only ever insure with direct insurers. I'd...
Hi currently have a stage 3 in for custom mapping & was told the rear Miltek Catback (Resonated) was restrictive. Advised to replace for BCS full system.
Popular opinion is that BCS systems are the best performance-wise followed by the Milltek etc, which I agree however did not see the need for...
Just an update for anyone who reads the thread in the future - after coming past a few old threads, I picked up a trend between faulty injector(s) and over boosting code which was reported by several S3 owners, so if you get an over boosting condition code, even though it makes no sense, check...
Hi im using OEM S3 Calipers with J-Groove DBA Front Discs & DS2500 pads on a tte420 stage 3 400+bhp S3. I've not yet managed to get any brake fade or brake fail what so ever from this set up even when driven hard for a while although have never tracked the car. Would defo recommend the Ferodos...
Hi, mate, just curious to whether the car was able to drive? soon will be getting the AKS rs3 8v injectors fitted with RFD too but was told to trailer car to mappers.
Hi there is info but not clear in whether it is definitely needed, some people have it and some don't. Can you confirm why you have a 155 prv over the RS4 136? as it seems everyone has different PRV? just curious.
Hi im going to get the RS3 8V injectors, you need to have the head mod done by AKS tuning, although they will fit, they do not sit at the correct angle for spray pattern so AKS can do this for you & supply the correct plug as the S3 plug connector is different. Several people have told me this.
Hi
59 plate S3, would like a clear clarification if an LPFP is needed, the aim is for 420-430 BHP. The suggested LPFP would be the TTRS/RS3 one since this is best suited for the S3 8P. If an LPFP is needed please clarify the limit of the stock LPFP & if the TTRS/RS3 can work with stock...
Hi I'm a little sceptical myself about the injectors myself as they are RS4 injectors & the previous owner had them supplied & installed less than 15k miles ago with an RS4 Prv, although I don't know the injectors history (could be refurbished or second-hand ones?) either way I can't see why...
Thanks, RS3 8V injectors definitely seem to be the right way to go about things if you're doing a stage 3 setup as they have multiple benefits over the RS4 ones such as better spray pattern, don't run as rich & generally smoother ,unfortunately, my car is already mapped for the old RS4 ones...
Hi, you're the second member to vouch for the RS3 8V injectors, could you please clarify the "AKS head mod" is referring to the plugs & wiring that come with the kit from AKS needed to adapt for the 2.0T ?
Also, Did you have any issues with the HDEV 1 vs HDEV 5 ? read on couple other forums...
Looks like a great kit, will see if I can find anyone running the new revision RS4 ones part no 079 906 036 N as I can get them for almost half the cost otherwise likely to swap to the RS3 ones. Thanks weren't aware that was an option :)
