    Exhaust studs for secondary cats

Hi all, Boring question but one I’ve been search for the answer for. I have swapped my 2015 PFL RS3 secondary decats for Milltek and live the change... I want the original secondary Cats fully ready to go back on should I need but typically a couple of the studs snapped in the removal...

    Retro fitting sports exhaust

I’ve got not experience on the FL but changed in my PFL. Did it on the driveway with jacks and took just over an hour. Left car locked up so not to wake the car up and throw errors when unplugging the valves. Don’t know if that was necessary but I have no issues.

    Secondary decats

The sound is just awesome. Ok in comfort/auto (drive). I’m pleased I don’t need to start the car early everyday (more a weekend toy) as would seriously **** off the neighbours I think however that’s not due to the decat, just the standard sports exhaust. I’m sure most in my street who know...

    Secondary decats

I just jacked mine up using the standard issue Jack in the boot and climbed underneath (did use axle stands for protection) and removed. Took a few hours but I was being interrupted by the family and my ratchet had broken so all done very manually. The clamps towards the back are very easy...

    Secondary decats

So last week I received my Miltek secondary decats. Wanted to remove any potential issues at MOT from the non experienced Audi inspectors so filed down the welds on the tags that say ‘not for road use’ until the tags came off and filed each weld until smooth. In a few thousand miles when Pipe is...

    A6 black edition 45 stalling

Do, had my new black edition TSFI 45 for a couple of weeks and it has stalled about 6 times now when coming to a stop. Sometimes dangerously at roundabout, normally when parking. Car starts juddering/feeling like it’s running rough and then stalls with message ‘manual restart required’ or...

Car has arrived, storage pack and Boot question.

This is the response I got from my local Audi dealer: (email chain) get the impression they are not interested so have gone back to dealer where car purchased. Hi Yes I can imagine it is. If you had factory ones fitted then they can be ordered in the normal parts way. Sorry I can’t help...

Car has arrived, storage pack and Boot question.

Not sure but I have just replaced my black edition 2015 that had the boot storage hooks for shopping bags however the 69 plate does not have. Very frustrating and a step backwards. Anyone know if they can be purchased?

    20" wheels ride quality

I’ve just replaced my 2015 A6 black edition with 20 inch wheels for the latest black edition with the same size. Cracking car and love the sporty ride. That said, in comparison to the ride in my RS3 it is very soft.

Thanks - I will monitor. Currently my doors are not open long enough for them to get hot!

    Puddle / door lights

I paid about £13/14 off eBay. The real ones of the Audi rings are about £99 direct from Audi!

    Puddle / door lights

I appreciate this won’t be to everyone’s taste but I am loving my new puddle lights from standard light to RS3 lights!

    De-chrome

Hi, This is what I purchased and is just enough for all but the back curve. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/392288326492 With a small bit of heat to can manipulate the vinyl round the back of the chrome and then trip as I wrote above with scrapper or...

Bits to pay particular attention to are the area under the wind mirror and the back curve part.
