It’s usually only the base models that need modules as well. The modules you need have 501 at the end of the model Number so you can check yours. This is off memory been a year since I sold mine. The full module numbers are posted on here in a few places.
If you have electric windows all round then you will just need mirrors and inside switch if you choose to fit it. Any mirrors 14ish and above will fit. Don’t know the exact part numbers. Just be sure they have the pink wire in the connectors that’s how you can tell them apart from non-folding.
I used the bumps for the front that came with the kit and trimmed the back about an inch. Just because going over speed humps it was hitting them and making it feel a bit stiff. Any other time though seem fine leaving them.
Mine was pfl I think there are a few that have it working on fl. It’s not working on saloon though. Same coding as in first post if you get codes something hasn’t changed correctly.
Question: I’ve done the auto hold on my sportback and works great! My mate has a saloon and we can’t seem to change the transmission in long coding currently 61 not 41. Also, the fault for missing auto hold switch won’t go away even with changing the monitor from 7 to 0 any ideas? Currently...
The last update I got it working with the coding from original post. But without the button you also need 03-abs>adaptions>Monitoring of auto hold switch light changed from 7 to 0.
That cures the handbrake fault code.
There are some wiring diagrams on here but it is a full rewire as the pins are not the same. You don’t need adaptors if your spending £600 on them you might as well get one of the retrofit companies to do it.
I’m not sure you can replace just the motor. As only striped mine down as far as the lower housing all the wires are sealed and wired into the connector so best bet is just another lower housing with motor.
