Got my 45 yesterday in the end. Thanks to all of you here for information on what's going on. Haven't got any decent pics yet because of the snow.

Well they've told me it should be sorted by then. I am a bit sceptical though as to whether it will be happening.

Been about 2 weeks on status 40 now. Just a bit concerned as no details on the 45 have gone up on the site yet.

I'm glad people are getting cars now. Has anyone with a 45 TFSI or 50 TDI heard anything yet? I'm still on code 40.

Okay, that is interesting. I had a 45 TFSI built on the 3rd December, currently at the UK port. I'm guessing it'll be there until they sort out the WLTP for it though.

I'm sorry to hear about this but this is the subforum for the B9 A5 you might have better luck getting help on the other A5 subforum.

Just had my car weirdly go back to QC from being at the port on the tracker.

Congrats! Post some pics tomorrow if you can. Mine has left the factory now but I think I still need to wait for the 45 TFSI to pass the testing.

I'm waiting for the same engine as well. I have the website saying my order is in Quality Control and the app saying it is in prep. The 45TFSI and the 50TDI are waiting for the WLTP and so we probably won't see more movement until that is sorted.

Now that the tracker is working again I can see my car is in Quality Control now :thumbs up:

Awesome to hear, what engine is yours? Emailing customer service helped me out as dispute the tracker on the website and app saying that mine will start construction on the 3rd they were able to confirm to me that my car has been built and left the factory so I at least have a bit more info now.

Mines still on expecting to begin construction on the 3rd December 2018! Really annoying that it still hasn't changed at all and no one can tell me what is happening

It is, the real problem is when people do it just before a corner. Now someone in a wheelchair has to go in the road on a potentially blond turn because they parked on the pavement. It is a horrible accident waiting to happen as you just can't see people at that height through the parked car...
