My Audi A3 8P 1.8 CDAA requires a timing chain kit. OEM or are there any other good quality after market kits available. Any thoughts please.

Hi, My A3 2010 is fitted with a DSG LSS 7 speed gearbox the car has covered just over 40k. I am thinking about an oil change but cannot find a lot of information.The method is not the same as the earlier DSG...? Any help please.

Do not think there is any point trying to repair this....Wallet open again. Poor design i think.

Popped into a local Audi dealer, the water pump is supplied as a complete unit with seals and bolts etc.The joiner and o ring to the oil cooler are separate also the o ring on the small pipe that connects to the front of the housing.I also purchased a new belt,pulley bolt and inlet manifold...

My A3 8P 2010 only done 40,000 miles had a small coolant leak. I have removed the inlet manifold etc.To me it looks like the leak is where the pump fits to the housing. My question is please..Does the genuine Audi pump come with the housing or can they be purchased separately. Ant

I recently purchased a cable from Marshalls 3 Vins for £225....Money well spent i think.

Update...Just purchased new.... only £70 for two genuine Audi parts. All the time and effort it would take to get the old panels to look as good as new....

Thanks for your message.This is really helpful Mine is a 3 door too....I have just had a quick look on ebay and there are a few on there even some made from carbon fibre. I might have a go at painting the ones I have but if I am not happy with the result then I will purchase new ones..

Thanks for your message. Yes i was going to remove them not sure how they are held on yet.. I am not sure if they still have the original coating on them or like you say someones poor effort.. Remove them then completely remove the paint and then repaint them is the way to go..
