I'm in exactly the same boat. What I said i'd do is call back and give my registration again to ensure they have it correct on their system, but i've not done that as of yet. At the end of the day your call is recorded and you gave all the correct information, it's their fault if you're not...
I suppose the trouble you have is that a car is always refreshed and you'll never keep up.
I too like the dash but also like to keep unto date where I can and have the freshest version where possible.
Just annoying we waited as long as we all have only to have a model thats unto date for...
Well this has just ****** me off, big time.... so in about 6-7 months time my new version will be out of date and the whole A4 has a complete refresh, not just a face lift, so you'll get the double screens etc....
If any of you have a car arriving March/April i'd cancel it and wait for the new...
One thing I've really noticed on mine is the splash marks up the edge of the car - as it doesn't come with mud flaps. Anyone found any good mud flaps to fit on? Seems you can find cheap ones or expensive genuine ones....
Stunning car mate, congrats. We nearly went for S3 (I went from Golf R to this) but just couldn't afford it (new baby, house etc etc) so will get my toy in a year or so.
It is weird how they've actually not applied the face lift to the S3 at all....
Audi do offer drive away insurance but you need to call up in advance to ensure it's added on. When I bought my Golf they called for me during the appointment, but Audi didn't do that and I therefore had to sit in the car on the forecourt waiting for Admiral to insure the car - which was a...
If yours goes the way that mine did then there’s a chance yours is actually already built, but then I’d imagine the tracker is now “live” as they were hiding some of the delays before. Fingers crossed you get yours soon
I can confirm both sides are real - I have the 40 TFSI.
One thing to note is I’m not happy about the MPG at the moment, averaging about 30-31 driving carefully (got to run the car in first).
I'd cancel it mate if I was you. Some great deals out there on leases on cars like the A6, plus there's a chance yours will be delayed even further as Audi have had a habit this year of extending things.
Just to answer your questions about the decals that go on the side of the back doors;
Essentially you'll have a brown envelope in the pocket in the boot, which you can put on yourself using the guides provided OR ask your dealer to do them
Just take delivery now mate, what’s the point in waiting until the 19 plate (doesn’t change the actual car and won’t change future value much either). Life’s too short, just enjoy it now :)
Plus I can’t see the dealer hanging onto it for 2 months, plus it’ll be standing still not doing anything...
Ibis. It’s been treated, sealed and waxed, plus has a ceramic coating, so that may make the paint look slightly deeper but it’s just Ibis white :) added options inside as opposed to outside, apart from the wheels
It’s a cracking car isn’t it, glad you finally got yours too. I’m finding the mild hybrid weird and something I’ll have to get used to... very hard going from a 300 Bhp golf to a 190 A4, but it’s a beautiful car and so much space! The a6 will be my next family wagon and the TT my next toy probably
So I got the rate that was agreed at the time of order, this 2.9% with the same deposit contribution as when I ordered end of May. Everything absolutely fine and as agreed, plus a few minor perks. The dealerships certainly aren’t the evil guys here, it’s just that Audi have had major problems...
