Protects your car from rain, snow ice, hot sunshine, dust, birds, animals, tree sap, knocks and scratches. If cats are a problem, this cover is a popular choice due to the slippery nature of the fabric
I must admit that bit made me laugh!!!
Any recommendation on a "cover" (in lieu of a better word) for a car?
As much as I don't want the car to look like its been wrapped in a condom, I'm getting fed up of some of the neighbourhood vermin (sorry, I mean cats) using the car as a climbing frame!! :rage:
cheers
ash.
Noticed the same after washing the car on Sunday. Just a bit of condensation inside on the wing side of the headlights. Thought I could remember reading something about it on here somewhere before. It has now cleared on one side, but that side does get the sun.
Previously I've always been given an A3. Last month was offered an A4 or A5 when I got to the dealers. Took the 5 just as something different. Only need to go 12 miles home and back again so not too concerned as to what I'm given.
so washed the car this afternoon, second rinse through the filter and left to air dry just to see. a few spots around, but nothing like it would have been without it!!
a couple of alleged "cat scarers" plonked in the front borders, now to see if that'll deter the damn things from s*****g on...
I was thinking of something with a bit more, ummmm, poke....

I'm certainly hoping so...! Just run through a half watering can to get it going, and the TDS meter has dropped from 404ppm, to 2ppm!! Certainly seems to do what it is says on the tin!!! :grinning:
If only there was something as easy to keep the neighbourhood cats away!! :rage:
I succumbed, and filter arrived this morning. Been thinking about it for a while...the sun came out as i started to dry the car last weekend and before you could say "boo" had water sports galore on the car. Black car, east facing drive, so have been limited as to when I can clean the car...
Had my previous A6 rear-ended by a waste truck three years ago whilst waiting to get on to a roundabout. Luckily it was only a low speed collision, total cost of the repairs was £2300 which was paid for by the other guys insurance. And yes my insurance went up the next year.
Yeah, you'd need to take it out to use it.
I haven't tried the key fob buttons whilst it's in the pouch, but I know it does completely block mobile phone reception if the phones in it.
Another one also using the Stoplock Pro Elite Steering Wheel. As mentioned above, more of deterrent to the random thief than the pro. Also keep the key fob in a signal blocking wallet when not in use. No idea if it's really worth it, but can't hurt.
