Had my A1 185 Black Edition (1.4 TFSI) serviced and MOT'd last week, and whilst talking to the mechanic, I mentioned I have to have the timing belt changed this year as it was overdue. He said they don't need doing as the TFSI engines have a chain not a belt. That's news to me. Is that right?

I have a 2012 A1 185 Black Edition (8X) I just rang Derby Audi who told me that the gearbox oil and filter doesn't need changing on my model. Thought that was odd as the mechatronic units are notorious for going. After checking the service history I couldn't see any mention of it being done so...

Small upgrade today. Some Audi stickers that were £1.34 for the pair on Amazon. A little smaller than advertised, but that makes them more subtle looking IMO.
