@Ujw I had mine replaced under warranty. See my thread here. Some info. https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/dsg-stronic-oil-leak-audi-a4-b9.374095/page-3
If you look back at my threads about gearbox replacement b9. This was the issue with my reverse gear. Ended up with a replacement box under warranty. My b9 was first year model.

I’m a Goodyear fan since the asymmetric 3. We just put a set of the f1 asy 6 on the wife’s a5 (on the rear of the car.) If conti has sorted their wear issues I may switch if prices are similar. Everything is subjective I guess. Still the best decision I made was to switch the ebc red stuff brake...
Exhaust cat back would give you more noise. If you’re not going to map in the intake just get a panel filter as it’s allot of money to spend without gaining potential performance by mapping.
Not sure if the part number for them as they would be model dependant. Going by axel weight. No don’t have them installed. Yeah they will be much former. The a4 isn’t known for smooth driving especially with 19” rims. Will be getting them come time for replacement shocks. I did however install...
Hope you get it sorted bud. What about your gearbox? You found it to be better? You should see if they could reset it for you to go into learning mode. Re learn. Not sure of the terminology but give that a go.
You definitely want the bilstein b8 shocks. If you bought the shocks and springs together you could have saved some money. The kit is called b12 (bilstein b8 and eibach pro kit)
Another option to tighten up the steering is to check all bolts are tight. My mechanic does this for me every year...
If you own the car and it’s not leased and requires Audi service it, go to a independent Audi/VW specialist garage and just make sure it’s vat registered. Your warranty is still covered.
Don’t think you should say Audi lost their mind in the post. Just stick to details. Lovely example of the car. Another time and I seriously would have been interested.
What is the BHP for the engine? Edit : 349 wow.
What was your insurance like? I know every quote is different
You have the patients of a saint. The b9 is so ratly it’s not even funny. How much hair did you lose in the end and how many broken clips. The sound system in this car (Audi basic) is so bad. We also have the b9 a5 cabriolet and it’s rattle free.
Surely someone could tell me if they have heated seats. Does the drivers side only have bum and back heating whilst the passengers has only has bum heating
We have a b9 a4 and b9 a5 cabriolet. Same engine but the a5 feels so sluggish in comparison. I think it’s mainly the box and makes if feel like it’s hesitant. Would love to get this done. I prefer to drive the a4. We run BP ultimate as it has the highest cetane rating so everything is the same...
