    P0299 - Turbocharger/Supercharger "A" Underboost Condition

Push the dealer to get as close to 2k as you can then bite their hands off. Remember, FASH & the warranty on the parts & labour for such a potentially expensive part will certainly recoup any monies when it comes to resale. Should you choose to keep the car you don't have to worry about turbo...

    P0299 - Turbocharger/Supercharger "A" Underboost Condition

Warranty? If not try the "WTF I've only done xxxii number of miles & the cars only xxx years old....shed a tear...etc..." to the head of whatever dealership you bought the car from &/or are trying to get the repair done by. They might chip in for good will if it's FASH and only just out of the...

    Audi bodge job....silicone ?

No. That is not an acceptable repair. Not even by Arthur Daley standards. I'd be escalating this to Audi UK, perhaps post a couple of those photos on their twitter feed. That should get some traction. Just make yourself a pain in the **** otherwise they will most likely fob you off. (Sad but...

    Whats faster than a Bitdi?

Also, the 335 is definitely faster. I drove several in my car hunt before I settled on the BiTDI. It's much more of a drivers car - lighter, more nimble & brutally fast when pushed. Similar power plant. ****** loved it. (Which was a surprise as I've always loathed BMW's for some reason)...

    Whats faster than a Bitdi?

Thing is, even though it's quick & big the A6 BiTDI is & was ****** expensive. Think mine was circa £50k+from new, but not to me fortunately! So really you do have to compare it to similarly priced offerings from the other marques - not the cheaper hot hatches. Plus, it's not really a sprinter...

    Petrol flap

I had this on my A6 after a couple of months back, it's a 4yr old car, but under the Audi used warranty a VW group tech came out & changed it on the drive. Took him all of 5 mins. Popped the tabs, exchanged the entire plastic housing Inc filler flap, bit of skullduggery with the colour coded...

    Audi Dealer Servicing Cost

Would have thought about £250 for a main dealer minor service with oil changed. Any more & they're taking the ****. Worthwhile shopping about as my local dealer was recently doing a deal of £500 for a service package - 1 minor & 1 major, to be reclaimed as required. Which for a main dealer is...

I'm a fan of Vreds. Good bang for buck - particularly the ultrac vortis as a sticky summer tyre.

    High mileage 3.0 tdi 245bhp

Your going to be looking at a lot of tired bushes, suspension parts & potential drive train issues unless the car has been meticulously maintained by previous owners. That's pretty heavy mileage for a relatively young car. Even if cheap, I would give a swerve. Unless you're mechanically minded...

1st experience of Audi assist. Pleased so far!

Ian, the VAG group mobile fitter (Audi assist), returned this morning & replaced the fuel flap assembly. All under warranty. Flawless service. Job jobbed.

1st experience of Audi assist. Pleased so far!

Behind the right hand cubby in the boot - the one just behind the rear O/S light cluster against the quarter panel - there is a small red pull tab. You need a flat head screwdriver to release the cubby trim piece (turn tab at top) and it's right there in front of you. Cheers, Morgan

1st experience of Audi assist. Pleased so far!

So, 2k miles into ownership of my 14plate BiTDI & the cars thrown it's first mechanical wobbler. A minor one fortunately - fuel filler flap solenoid has failed miserably leaving the flap locked closed - and me with an empty tank! Looked like a bit of a Muppet on the forecourt last night trying...

Hello, I just started the petition "Audi: Audi UK have literally ruined my life financially ref mode

Oh dear. If you didn't have bad luck you'd have no luck at all eh? However, as mentioned above, you've a snowflake in hells chance of getting anything out if Audi. Two used cars, both over a decade old. Known fault or not, out of warranty, out of luck with most manufacturers. Occasionally...

Looking at a 3.0 TDI but is the bitdi better?

Not plowing into the car infront when the boost fires you forward when planting the right foot:yahoo: this will also give you a good opportunity to rest the brakes :whistle2:

Looking at a 3.0 TDI but is the bitdi better?

The s + multi-tronic have service schedules - 38k iirc. The Tiptronic is sealed for life according to Audi. Hence the comment above about Audi techs being clueless. Confusingly, Tiptronics in the hybrids, according to the general service schedules in my handbook shows service intervals of 58k...

    2017 bitdi black edition.

Dynamic mode kicks in the sports steering (heavier steering feel), exhaust modulator (fake v8 sound), slightly sharper braking response (allegedly - tbc) & obviously the sports gearing selection. Plus I'd assume stiffening any adaptive suspension, if you have any. Knocking back the gear...

Windscreen washer jets - Jet to Fan retrofit...no longer heat

This happened to me yesterday on the way to work......was deeply unimpressed (although it was -6)......so put neat concentrate screen wash in once I'd got to work & on the way home worked fine (still -3). Guessing as mentioned above that the washer fluid had frozen in the pipes, making it...

Looking at a 3.0 TDI but is the bitdi better?

Happy to stand corrected - looked again at the Audi bumpff & you fellas are right, it's not standard, but yet another optional extra:blush: The car I chose has it fortunately. As above post, day to day driving experience between the the 272 & BiTDI would be negligible I suspect. I just fancied...
