Mine is a 67 plate B9. It's under warranty until Friday 20th. The nearside glass isn't getting warm or de misting, so it's booked into the main dealer on Tuesday. I'll report back. I can confirm the rear screen doesn't have to be activated to make the mirror de misters work.

Yup. I'd be tempted to have a go at that myself. Buy a touch up stick (Paint in a small bottle with a brush) & touch it in with a cocktail stick. Build it up then remove the excess with a soft abrasive such as t cut. Still gutted for you............
Interesting replies chaps. I'm going to see how long the "premium" Duracell battery lasts. If it's not long, then yet another trip to the dealers. Having said that, they are great to deal with.
I replaced the battery in the key yet again. Audi have done this twice (I suspect with cheapies), so I decided to try a Duracell one. That's three replacements, & the car isn't twelve months old yet.
