Just a quick photo looking down on the badge... you can see the clips at both end, that you have to push inwards to release them... just be careful not to drop the back of the badge when it’s un-clipped, as you’ll need it to put the new one on! As said above, just watch a couple of YouTube...
I like the idea mate! It’s the little personal touches that just finish these cars off... I don’t think their shape/style needs anything major changing
I would have loved all the badges to have been yellow, but I’d have to change my callipers to match and also the centre ring in my alloys... so...
They are in affect just gel stickers... to as easy as peel and stick on top! make sure the surface is as clean as you can get it, and that you put a little warmth into the gel before sticking it down and job’s a good’n
Cheers!
The gel lettering just goes right on top of the original letters... they’re a pretty nice fit to be fair and unless you get down for a real close look you can’t tell the originals behind... doing it this way makes it easy to remove in the future if needed too and have the OEM look back
Initially thought that... bit there nowhere within miles and miles of me that are particularly good at wrapping! Had my roof done and had to travel best part of 125 miles for it... little far just to have the letters done haha
Messaged them this mornings so just waiting for a reply
From a quick look, I think they might just be stuck on so will come off... I think the red gel’s might look a bit off with the grey 3D sides of the letters still showing?!
Awes
Awesome... do you mine saying how much the Quattro red badge is delivered mate?
Are you going to remove the original lettering before applying these, or put them over the top?
I’ll investigate tomorrow and see if they can be removed individually :icon thumright:
Hopefully as you say, they are just held on the same as the rear badges
Good thinking... if they can be removed and more bought, would make a colour change a lot easier
Martin, those look like the PFL options, not the ones that come on the lower FL front grill
Hi,
Whats the best and easiest way of changing the colour of the Quattro lettering on the bottom of the front grill?
I’m wanting to go red with it... was thinking gel lettering to go on top, but then you’d still see the grey on the sides :grimacing:
Any advice/ideas/experience welcome
For the past week or so my MMI screen has been showing “acquiring licence” and a little loading bar when trying to use google earth, but it never gets past that stage...
...but as of yesterday all back to normal and loads straight away again?!
