A3 8P removing of the door card will not help in this case, there is no latch click or any lever inside the door that will release the car from safe mode, I have my door card off at the moment on the rear doors, and they will not unsafe.. No way to open the doors.

HI, I did this mod a few months ago , and apart from cutting the hole in the correct place. You can hold a nut under the bracket with your finger. I used a nut with a fixed washer, and i think i ground it down a couple of mil so it wouldn't be too thick.
