For Android Auto, press menu, then scroll all the way to the bottom, it should display Android Auto there. When you click on it, you can select Spotify as your music player, you can then control play lists etc. and use voice control to change the music.

I used the next track button on the steering wheel or the pushed the volume button right. To be honest I use android auto as that gives full control on Spotify and sounds better because it is plugged in.

That's the thing, at all other times you cannot hear the engine (mine is a 1.4). So much so my wife finds it weird to drive as she is used to hearing the engine!

Thanks, that's what both my dad and brother said when I spoke to them. It does seem to happen when I coast and come to a stop so stands to reason. Probably only noticable due to how quiet the car is. I will see what they say when I take it in on the 18th.

Hi, I have my car booked in for its first oil change and to take a look at a ticking noise that has started. It is audible when driving and the music not too loud. It also continues when the auto engine off kicks in. Has anybody else had this?

I think there is a difference between manual and automatic here. I have a manual and it will not automatically apply the handbrake unless I firmly apply the brake so the hill hold comes on, it will then apply the parking brake. Mine needs its first oil service next month so I will ask them...

Definitely not when you take your seat belt off, I had got and started looking in a shop when it happened to me! I have found if I am going really slow and only lightly apply the brake automatic handbrake does not come on and so when you switch it off the hand brake doesn't either.

I put a post about this a month or so ago. It seems to be down to how much you push the brake pedal. I pulled slowly into a space went into a shop only to be called as my car had rolled forward and hit a barrier. It was lucky the barrier was covered in some advertising so there was no damage...

I got an update to Android Auto the other day and since then I am having troubles with it, I have to restart my phone sometimes as Spotify says there is no internet connection. I am going to reinstall today and see what happens.

There is an option to select more, mine only had the south, but I installed the north too.....don't know why, its far to cold for me up there!

Its also available to download directly within the car, rather than downloading onto USB and then moving it across. That's how I did it on Monday.

I noticed the same in mine the last few days, keep changing between 19 and 20 as 19 gets too cold and 20 too warm. it is rather strange, I have mine set on auto all the time and don't think the controls in the back have been changed, but will check.

Hi, A weird thing happened which fortunately nobody was hurt and no damage caused but when I parked at shop (Luckily there was a space just outside the door) my parking break did not apply and the car rolled forward and hit the barrier, thankfully slowly and the bollard had a cardboard sign on...

Hi All, Loving the car so far, just one slight annoyance: Every time I connect my phone to the cable I have to change the USB settings to Transfer Files (MTP) twice before it will work. Is this just my phone or does it happen to anyone else? Thanks
