I haven't tried it yet. Still looking for the right opportunity to a accelerate all out up to 100+mph. Not sure about a product where this seems to be required step though! But your right maybe this will help but have to say I'm not holding out too much hope.

I did that, very minimal impact on lag in all honesty.

Actually that is it. The app already is connected to your car. Now you have linked your phone to the app, the phone is consequently linked to the car. Just take your phone and hold it next to the door handle and see if it locks /unlocks your car. That will tell you if it's working.

Just tested and it works for me. Of dubious use though.

Make sure you activate NFC on your phone first, or it will incorrectly return not compatible. I did this now on my samsung s8 and it worked once I switched NFC on.

Same for me. Didn't interpet the instructions that way at all. Worth a try if i can find a road quiet and straight enough .. Need to move to Scotland.

Here is a brief review of my experiences so far of the TCU+ after I installed it on Saturday. Note, I have only done 35 miles so far and I understand it is still in learning/training mode. What follows are my subjective experiences, I have not measured anything nor am I an expert in the subject...

Just installing my TCU+. It's having its 5min engine idle as we speak then good to go. 7mins from start to finish! Looking forward to driving it and seeing the results. Will report back

Where do you guys try to launch control? I can't think of a good stretch of road straight and quiet enough (and not 30mph limit)
