The position of F40 can be shifted up to be in line with the other fuses. This controls hot all the time/ignition only.

There’s a fuse in the fuse panel that can be moved between 2 slots to control whether the socket is ignition only or hot all the time. It’s the same for a lot of VW/Audi.

You’ll notice that the posts that you screw the fog light into have some flex. The bracket holds the mounting posts more firmly.
Sorry I should’ve clarified. The 8V5 number is for non S-Line sedan. The 8V3 part numbers you have are correct for the non S-line sportback.

They don’t mount to the fog lights. They mount to the inside of the front bumper. There should be a few tabs that you can see that the slots on the bracket line up with.

If you PM me an admap of 09 I’ll take a look. I only have PFL tho so not sure if it’s gonna be the same for you. Do you already have the MMI menu activated?

For MMI control of the cupholder light, I have confirmed that these adaptation changes are correct:
Wire the cupholder light into the middle connector BCM. T46B pin 2.
5F - Adaptations
Vehicle function list BAP-interieur_light_0x08 = Activated
Vehicle menu...
None of the coding instructions posted online work. These adaptations were taken from an admap of a car with the interior lighting package from the factory. Not sure what each individual change does but it works.
Also, you need to long code byte 17, bit 2 in 09.
