A mate has offered to hook my S3 up to VAG-COM to try and get to the bottom of the problems I am having with my alarm. I haven't ever used VAG-COM. He's asking if my car is obd or obd2 or canbus?? Anyone able to answer? It's a september '01 51 plate 210 facelift S3. Thanks.

When starting from cold, my S3 often turns over a few times before catching. Other times it fires straight up from cold. Seems to be totally intermitent. Not the battery as I just put a new one on it. Any ideas if this is normal, or if not, what the prob is? Jon

Got a REVO remap and SPS3 switch. Any reason NOT to run at high boost 9 all the time? Does it strain anything? Fuel consumption? If I didn't have the switch surely it would be permanently set at the highest setting anyway?
