Ok, thanks for that.
That MT-10 does looks damn good and therefore no need for a Tracer.
I will see if I can get out on one of those - or the standard MT-10.
Cheers.
Do they do an MT-10 Tracer yet. Might be even more of an allrounder.
I always liked the Kawasaki SX1000 as an allrounder but will give them all a go.
Has the Mt-10 got safety stuff such as cornering ABS, anti-wheelie and anti-stoppie?
Update:
Specialist called me and upon firther inspection he said that it was NOT the 3rd cylinder fuel injector and it was in fact just a ******** ECU.
In fact, he had seen nothing like it and the actual components on the ECU or epprom (I dont know the difference) were very dodgy and actually...
Very nice Mario. You now need to either paint the Zuki in that lime greeen to match Yamaha or vice verca :)
I love the livery on the MT-10,. Always liked it since I saw it on the MT-07 a few years back.
As it happens, just started looking for a new bike. Was at Triumph today and the new Speed...
Well I did enjoy the Stage 1 unwittingly but I will revert it back to standard.
I will tell the buyers the truth, that I was mistaking sold it and corrected it.
Yes, the car will show up as having been modified at some point but it will surely be easier to sell it as a non, unmodified car.
It...
Update:
The Audi dealer would replace the ECU and including labour would be £1350.00
I took it to the local specialist 15 minutes away.
He called me within an hour and said that it was the 3rd Cylinder Fuel Injector which actually caused the car issue (Audi never even mentioned this!! and...
My original thoughts on combating this were:
"
If it was legal, I would:
Bring out a gun and watch their faces as I shoot the nearest one in the leg - next please...
Have a bespoke alarm system that let's them drive away and after one minute it either blows up or locks the car (and then either...
Well, I have asked the question and awaiting confirmation. It is hard to believe that I when I took it in with a ******** up drive that they didnt check the obvious. It might well be that there is a mechanical problem but they plugged the car in, as standard procedure, noticed it was remapped...
Yes, they have already told me that they sold the car to me believing it was standard as the person that they bought it off did sign a form saying that it was NOT modified. I have been told that I need to prove, via a date stamp of the software being modded, that it was not me who ordered the...
The car is actually still in warranty for another week or so BUT, of course, now that they know the car is remapped surely the warranty is voided not matter what the actual issue might be?
I hope Audi actually looked at the obvious issues, but I have reminded them to double check! :)
Well, I...
Update: Been without use of the car for almost 3 weeks now.
Audi dealer: Can't do anything apart from a new ECU and the labour = £1300.00
Sports Car dealer that sold me the car: They can't get hold of the seller who sold it to them modified despite signing disclaimer that asked about this as...
Well, well.
I drive a lot of supercars and I always thought that my RS3 was '******' fast. Faster than it should be.
Anyhoo.. The car lost all decent drive when I was out and about. It would judder under acceleration and I had to keep it to 30MPH or so until I got to the Audi garage which was...
Yeah, the only solution is to move away from SLough :)
I drove through Slough, never stopped at all, doing an average of 30MPH. As I left Slough I heard this metallic screeching only to find out, whilst moving, all my wheels had been stolen.
I managed to find the train station, hopped on the...
I was going to pay £37,000 cash for my PFL but in the end I changed my mind and got a loan for £25,000 and kept £12000 in cash, then:
Spent £3000 on a long weekend to Ibiza with my mates
Spent £1000 on alcohol for a party with the same mates
Spent £3000 on cocaine
Spent £2000 on whores
The...
No problems here with the alcantara on my PFL. Done about 15K miles now.
I don't touch it much whilst driving really, being at 6 and 12 o'clock but I have been known to fondle it from time to time just for the thrill.
It's nice when one is accelerating but much prefer the 5 cyl in the RS3 overall.
However, I was kindly offered a ride in the newer V8 with a sports exhaust when at Bentley and the exhaust really made it for me.
