Pretty much sums up my experience with my A4 1.4 so far.
I had the pleasure of driving to Dover and back this week. What can I say, the drive was smooth, and much more enjoyable than my old car.
It put to bed all my doubts about the 1.4, as it didn't struggle in anyway.
Have to agree on ACC...
Yeah first thing I noticed when I got into my new 1.4. Nothing really annoying but it is something that Ive just searched on as it was news to me.

Well to use the Audi connect features it. Allows you to check a few things on your phone, i.e fuel level, switch off lights and even unlock/lock the car by your mobile. Scary!

It's finally arrived. Wow big step up from my Leon. Loving the feel of the car so far. That new car smell is amazing! [emoji16] Sorting out online stuff scratching off a code and everything else that goes with it lol.

Thing is there's always something better, I missed out on the black edition by one week of ordering. I can deal with that..I've also seen prices fluctuations plus bigger deposit and higher lease fee's. Or what seemed like a good deal didn't allow options to be added. For me I wanted a low...
It's nearly time. Car being delivered next Thursday, exciting times. Quite a smooth process but had to chase lease company when I knew the car was at the dealership before they did!

Had my inspection today and literally the guy from BCA took no less than 5 minutes to go through and inspect my car. No damages reported, and I thought I would be in trouble with the alloys, but all clear!! So if you haven't had your inspection yet then I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry...
Options that I wanted, but they pushed up the price of the lease too much. Totally agree with you, some of these should be standard on the A4, i.e folding mirrors for goodness sake!

Ordered 11/05/17 now Status 70 [emoji3]. Now the wait for the lease company to be in touch to sign the finance agreement. Thought that should of been before it arrived at the dealership! [emoji23][emoji23]

My understanding is that you have to get the work done independently before the car can get collected. I'm in the same boat with my Leon. Using their fair wear and tear policy I've got two scuffs that I reckon will be £60 a pop. However that's way cheaper than the main dealers or refurb company...
You was lucky enough to get something back from Audi, Mercedes would be no different if you cancelled a car order with them. Look at the small print. Ordering a car requires a deposit which 9/10 is non refundable. This is up to the point you collect your car. That contract is not like a mobile...
Got myself an official Audi order number and registered on the Audi site. Nothing is going to happen until 3rd of July so I must resist going back onto the website until then!

Oh I'll no doubt be buying some stuff, new mitt and all. Got a build date today of 3rd July. So I would presume August 5th delivery at the earliest?

Yeah black is a nightmare to keep clean but any excuse to get a bit of quiet from the kids and the wife is always welcomed!! [emoji23][emoji23]

To late I've ordered the 1.4! Went for the colour black. Was toying between either white, black, red. Nice car mind, I'm sure I'll be happy with mine when it arrives later this year!

Great so basically I'm now having to pay £5 more a month more because of the dealer not taking into consideration the price increases across the Audi range. Was going to tell them no. However they are waiving the document fee so technically I'm up £65
