I did the conversion myself, I let Audi retrofits do the wiring I supplied the parts,I used the 2017-18 dynamic rear lights ,give them a call he will help you out

update since i got no joy from anyone on here with an answer I took it to audi Stirling .£60 diagnostic test to tell me its the ignition switch,but i told them this when i booked it in? they then asked for a further £199 to repair,i asked why so much they replied £42 for part and 1 hour maybe...

I'm having similar problem right now with my a3 8v tdi 2013 I can take the key out of the ignition and the car still runs,i have to stall the car to stop the engine and when i do this everything is still light up on the cluster like its ignition is on,it drained the battery and wouldn't start...

I turned off the ignition and took the key out of the barrel but its still running? I had to stall it to stop the engine,the dash cluster is still lit up like its running I removed the battery lead to see if thus would reset it,still the same I thought it was a new key fob battery it needed...
