    Spoken to both Audi garages, neither did any gearbox work. They also insist there aren't any software updates.... So whose the best specialists?

    Razza, you know your stuff! There was a date stamp, it said 2000, so that wasn't very helpful I'm afraid. Perhaps you need an Audi computer for that one. I have a stamped service book and that's it. I rang Audi previously and asked if there were any software updates for the s-tron and they said...

    Razza - thanks. That is a good point, get cover and it doesn't matter if it happens. But you don't think I should check if the previous services did the filters? Also are there any really top independents who are good at keeping an eye on these things? Best Joe
